An Announcement from LifeLabs: Introducing the Klinrisk Score
LifeLabs – Ontario NDs:
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) affects millions worldwide, with approximately 1 in 10 Canadians battling this condition. I’m pleased to share that LifeLabs is partnering with Klinrisk to offer an algorithm-based tool for risk stratification of kidney failure progression at early stages of CKD for at-risk patients.
Why Klinrisk Score?
The Klinrisk Score is designed for proactive care to assess the risk of CKD progression early, including individuals who are not currently showing symptoms and are disease-free today. Developed in collaboration with leading experts, Klinrisk utilizes an artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI-ML) model based on results from routine blood and urine tests to generate a score to predict risk of decline in kidney function or kidney failure across all CKD stages. This score empowers Naturopathic Doctors with valuable insights to guide decisions about referrals, treatments, and goals of care, ultimately helping to reduce the risk of developing end-stage renal disease.
To obtain the Klinrisk requisition form and more information please reach out to your LifeLabs Territory Manager:

If you missed it… we’ve got something exciting for you 👀
Sarah has partnered with Mira as a Practice Advisor, and is now offering complimentary 30 minute case review sessions to support you in interpreting hormone testing via Mira, with confidence!
We know hormones are dynamic. Single lab tests often miss the bigger picture, but sending a patient to get their blood drawn every day is also not the answer. Mira allows us to assess patterns and rhythms across LH, FSH, estrogen and progesterone metabolites, giving us more meaningful clinical insights.
If you are using (or curious about using) Mira with your patients, this is an opportunity to gain support with complex cases, interpretation, and clinical decision-making. So you can feel more confident and provide better care for your patients!
